GospelChops Brings Gospel Drumming to the Big Screen with “DRUM OFF”

In a move that promises to catapult GospelChops into the movie-making industry, the music video company has begun production of  its first original motion picture. Based on a fictional screenplay, “DRUM OFF” depicts the musical adventures of a boy who avoids tragedy by depending on the only skill he has ever mastered: DRUMS.

Written and directed by Gerald Forrest, the film is an exciting mix of extraordinary musical performances, urban life struggles, and religious foundations similar to War Room and Fireproof.

“I’m excited about this new chapter for GospelChops,” says Forrest. “Not only will it broaden our global audience, but it will provide another conduit for us to exercise our creative expression and spread the art of gospel drumming.”

“DRUM OFF” is scheduled to release in 2016.
